Once apon a time there was a boy. He had brown hair and blue eyes. His name was Ben, you see. Not me. A different Ben. He also had a funny little spot on his left ear. The spot was brown. No, wait, correction, the spot was pink. Because pink is the colour of skin, you see. But anyhow, we are not here to discuss the matters of Ben's left ear lobe. No. We are here to speak of more pressing matters. One day, Ben decided it would be fun to go on a holiday. A holiday to the jungle, you see. Now when he got to the Jungle, he found lots of trees. "Oh dear", though Ben, "This isn't quite what I expected". But he set up his tent any-way. Now the tent was made of canvas, you see. And was bright blue. Not brown. If it was brown, he could loose it in the mud, you see. But this was exactly what did happen, you see.
One day, Ben returned back to his usual spot where his tent was after a long hard day of exploring. "Phew", he thought, "Now for a nice lie down". BUT... his tent was no-where to be seen! "Now where could it possibly be?" he thought to himself, but now matter how hard he thought, he could not think what he could have done to loose it, you see. "I know", he said aloud, "I must have gone the wrong way".
So, back he went- and that was where he realised his great big mistake. He realised it just like that. You see. Instead of going left at the great big tree, he had gone right!!! Shock horror!!! He had to go left, you see, because that was where he had put his tent, you see. Left, and not right, because that is just the way the story goes, I'm afraid.
And when he got back, there was the tent, standing bold as brass, threatening to fall down at any moment (if that's possible). "Tent!", he cried, rushing straight up to it and giving it a great big hug. A hug, not a kiss you see, as that would be unhygenic and too distubing to out in stories for young children. "How rude", thought Ben, "He didn't even say hello", and with that, he walked away and spent the night in the cold. You see.
