The already bad prequels? Episode II, which is considered the worst of the prequels, is by far better than ESB

No. The Empire Strikes Back is filmed in a much more poetic and deep way. It goes into more depth about the force and training to use the force. It is my favourite. You have to admit, The Battle of Hoth is superb
