He sat alone. This was nothing new - he would usually sit alone. It wasn't that nobody wanted anything to do with him, he just liked to sit. Alone. He had a way of telling when bad things were about to happen. There was a rock where he would usually sit. If he wasn't there, something was wrong. And today, he wasn't there. To start with, no one noticed, but soon it caught the public's eye. Panic and fear began to fill people's minds. But he had not sensed anything. He continued to sit, oblivious to the hysteria he was causing. But then he heard it, a gentle whispering in the breeze... "hairostairs"...
