Yes, maybe but you were the one in the first place to take it away from the topic, with '...yer big earlobes' and french is way better than German and spanish, it is the language of love, but english is better still!

Lieutenant colonel, actually. See, I do know so much German because I do German and then think of random things to say that I've learned in school. For instance, I know the mysterious ticking noise in German.

And you know that both of you could be using a dictionary or google translate. Anyway random words isn't what makes you good at a language it is the ability to string sentences, questions and answers together, and being able to understand sentences, questions and answers, which I find is a lot easier to do in French, with German I just get confused with the word order when trying to think of a sentence off the top of my head.
