Where has he gone? He was there a minute ago, out by the apple tree. But now he is missing. I hope he's not seen me. Wait... is that footsteps I can hear? Footsteps of... him. They're getting closer now! If I'm quiet, maybe he'll go away. Maybe not. He's turning the handle. I haven't got a hope... have I?
